Refund Policy - the basics

Having said that, a Refund Policy is a legally binding document that is meant to establish the legal relations between you and your customers regarding how and if you will provide them with a refund. Online businesses selling products are sometimes required (depending on local laws and regulations) to present their product return policy and refund policy. In some jurisdictions, this is needed in order to comply with consumer protection laws. It may also help you avoid legal claims from customers that are not satisfied with the products they purchased.

What to include in the Refund Policy

All Sales Are Final

Due to the perishable nature of our products, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for any baked goods once they have been picked up, delivered, or shipped.

Order Issues

If there is a problem with your order (e.g., incorrect item, missing item, or a quality issue), please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order. We may request photos and details to better understand the issue and determine an appropriate resolution.

Cancellations

  • Standard Orders: Orders may be canceled for a full refund if we are notified at least 48 hours before the scheduled pickup or delivery.

  • Custom or Large Orders: Custom cakes or large quantity orders require at least 72 hours’ notice for cancellation and refund eligibility.

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Incorrect information provided by the customer (e.g., wrong pickup date/time)

  • Missed pickups or deliveries due to customer absence

  • Dissatisfaction based on personal taste preferences
